St. Volodymyr Memorial Church at the Ukrainian Park near Saskatoon.
Memorial Church of St. Volodymyr: The church will be dedicated to the Ukrainian pioneers. Its designated location is the Ukrainian Park site located 15 miles south-west of Saskatoon on Hwy. No. 60.
The proposed plan drafted by the architect Ihor Stecura of Toronto, provides for a log constructed structure which will accommodate approx. 75 persons;
for larger gatherings held outdoors, the church plan provides for an area just outside the main entrance where holy services will be conducted.
The committee responsible for the construction of the chapel consists of the following: Bishop Andrew Roborecki, Rev. Mitrat John Olynyk, Rev. Canon Wolodymyr Iwaszko, Rev. Deacon Stephan Kuryw-chak, Katherine Hnatiuk, Anna Maria Baran, Theodore Baran and Steve Woytowich, president of the Park Committee.
