 Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools»»

  • Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools—we’re rooted in faith, growing in knowledge and reaching out to transform the world.
  • Visit for more information.

The first day of school at all Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools is Tuesday, September 5. Did you know the Bishop Filevich Ukrainian Bilingual School is Saskatchewan’s only Ukrainian bilingual school? Registration for elementary students not already registered is the morning of Thursday, August 31 at Bishop Filevich or your local Catholic school. High school students can call or visit your local Catholic high school to register or change classes.

For over a century, Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools has offered Catholic education for all who choose that for their children. Catholic education in Saskatchewan has never simply been schools for Catholics. A recent court decision (and subsequent appeals) has created some uncertainty for many families. We can be certain of two things: we will continue to be a welcoming community nurturing intellectual, physical, emotional and spiritual growth of our students; and provincial funding for both Catholic and non-Catholic students will be in place for the foreseeable future.
