On June 5, 2022, on the Glorious and Holy Feast of the Descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, Bishop Bryan Bayda, C.Ss.R., celebrated a farewell Divine Liturgy at Our Mother of Perpetual Help (St. Mary’s) Church in Yorkton, SK, the Motherhouse of the Yorkton Region UGCC Redemptorists, and where he was pastor before being consecrated as Bishop of the Eparchy of Saskatoon in 2008. His Excellency, Bishop-Emeritus Peter Stasiuk, C.Ss.R., Hegumen and Pastor of St. Mary’s Rev. Leonid Malkov, C.Ss.R., and Rev. Yevhen Zadorozhnyi, C.Ss.R., concelebrated the Divine Liturgy. The Divine Liturgy was followed by a social and meet-and-greet with Bishop Bryan at St. Mary’s Parish Ukrainian Catholic Cultural Centre.
