Here is one more amazing event for young people that we strongly encourage you to participate in.  It will take place on three levels: globally, nationally, and locally!

Viter Na-Dii is like World Youth Day, for the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church!

It gathers young Ukrainians from across the world, uniting us in our shared faith, and celebrating our youth and our Church!

Spots are limited and COVID-19 guidelines will apply. Once we receive your email that you are willing to join us in-person, we will send you the necessary information and forms to sign. Remember that you must also register at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NTD2NRX in order to jointly participate in this event globally, nationally and locally.

YOUTH FESTIVAL “VITER NA-DII”: what to expect and what will surprise? (“VITER NA-DII” TRANSLATES AS “WIND IN ACTION”)

Have you heard about the youth festival VITER NA-DII that gathered over 10,000 young people in Ukraine last year?

THIS YEAR . . .  IT WILL BE HOSTED in 300 locations, one of which is in SASKATOON . . . (Church Auditorium of the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of St. George).

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2020

What is Viter Na-Dii? – it is similar to World Youth Day in that it gathers young Ukrainian people from all over the world and creates a Common & Unique Youth Space.
It is a Festival of our Church and of our youth!

TARGET AGE: 15-29

PARTICIPANT FEE (IN PERSON): VOLUNTARY DONATION

PROGRAM (FOR IN PERSON PARTICIPANTS):

8:20 a.m. – Participants arrive (location – St. George’s Cathedral)

8:30 a.m.  – Canadian National Welcome and Prayer.  – ZOOM.

9:00 a.m. – Livestream of Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk

10:00 a.m. – Greetings from our Saskatoon Eparchial Youth brought on behalf of Canadian Youth
– IN-PERSON-ZOOM-SKYPE

10:00 a.m. – DIVINE LITURGY

11:20 a.m. – LUNCH TIME

12:00 p.m. – Livestream PRAYER (Kana Band)

1:00-4:00 – CANADIAN NATIONAL VITER -NA-DII PROGRAM – ZOOM (Toronto host)

1:00 p.m. – Resume Canadian National Programming with Icebreakers

1:30 p.m. – Q&A with Canadian Bishops

2:15 p.m. – Breakout Sessions with Speakers

3:00 p.m. – Talent Show and Final Blessing

4:00 p.m. – Snack time

4:30 p.m. – On-line Concert (Cities Lviv, Kyiv, Ternopil – Ukraine)  / Ice-breaking games.

5:30 p.m. – Sharing, final prayer.

6:00 p.m.– PIZZA-MOVIE NIGHT – for those who want to stay.
