Христос Воскрес! Christ is Risen!

Воїстину Воскрес!   Indeed He is Risen!

LAURC Covenant Online STUDY

The Eparchy of Saskatoon has continued with other Christian faith groups in Saskatchewan, to celebrate the gift of each other as believers in Jesus Christ.

Since I became Eparch of Saskatoon in 2008, I have tried to engage in this mutual faith journey because it is what Jesus Christ commanded us to live out according to our baptismal mission and commitment as Missionary Disciples of Christ.

When possible, we join other Christian faith communities in celebrating our common faith.

To that end, I, as the Eparch and shepherd of the flock entrusted to me, with the support of the College of Consultors, signed a covenant with other faith leaders to mindfully follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit, the promptings of Vatican II and in recent years the teachings of St. Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict VI and Pope Francis.

The LAURC Covenant (Lutheran, Anglican, Ukrainian & Roman Catholic)  is an agreement between the Evangelical Lutheran and Anglican churches and the Ukrainian and Roman Catholic churches in Saskatchewan.

This online discussion is open to all but is especially directed to clergy and parish ecumenical representatives of the four covenant churches.
