RETURN TO IN-PERSON SERVICES – GUIDELINES FOR ACCOMMODATING WORSHIP


at St. Basil’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Regina

Effective June 8, 2020, places of worship may resume services, providing that social distancing of two meters can be maintained between each individual household. The allowable occupancy is one third of the defined occupancy rate of the facility to a maximum of 30 individuals for the initial stage of reopening.

ST. BASIL’S PARISH initial stage of Re-Opening
• To a maximum of 50, includes Clergy, Responders, Ushers.
• To attend, faithful MUST PRE-REGISTER for every Sunday by Thursday (evening) for the Liturgy they wish or there is room to attend.

• Elderly or Compromised faithful are encouraged to remain at home-Live Stream
PROTOCOL:
• Come to church at least 15 minutes prior to the Divine Liturgy. Rosary will begin 30 minutes prior Divine Liturgy
• Faithful to Enter/Exit Main church Entrance
• Follow direction given by ushers
• Sanitize hands at sanitization station at entrance
• Liturgical books will be provided at the entrance and you are asked to bring them back on completion of the service
• Donation basket will be at the entrance
• Masks are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED but not mandatory
• Divine Liturgies will be recited (for this initial phase) as singing would require further distancing
• Designated pews, Social distance, Family members of the same household may occupy one pew.
• For this initial phase there will be no access to the choir loft or basement; WASHROOMS & ELEVATOR can be used
• There will be no confessions in the confessional before Liturgy. Please, arrange confession with Father at a convenient time
• COMMUNION PROTOCOL: Holy Communion will take place upon completion of the Divine Liturgy, Father Simunovic will give
instructions
• NO visiting in church nor gathering in groups outside at the foot of the steps
