– St. Joseph High School Students in Saskatoon Halloweening for Hunger

 

Students throughout Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools are asking residents to consider putting a bag of non-perishable food items beside their candy bowl this Halloween.

For the 12th year, St. Joseph High School is leading the charge with their Halloweening for Hunger food drive. Students will be going door-to-door collecting food for the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre.

The Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre will pick up all of the food collected the following day.

When: 10:00 am, Thursday, November 1, 2018 Where: St. Joseph High School – 15 Nelson Road.

St. Joseph students have collected well over 100,000 lbs. of food over the years. Last year they surpassed their 20,000 lb. goal and hope to collect 25,000 lbs. of food this year.
