On March 13, 2025,  Mr. Brad Redekopp MP, for Saskatoon West, bestowed the honour of the King Charles III Coronation Medal on Very Rev. (Padre Captain) Ivan Nahachewsky at the Chancery Office in Saskatoon for his outstanding contributions to the community of Saskatoon, both civilly through his priestly ministry and in his military chaplaincy. There followed a social and refreshments where stories were shared of how Fr. Ivan has impacted the lives of many.
