The Ukrainian Program
is looking for support from our parent and community members!
We are excited about our long running program and want to ensure that it continues. In keeping with that mandate, we are proposing to form three committees. We are inviting parents and community members who want to get involved to sign up for one of the committees. If that is not possible we would gladly accept any expertise in any of the below listed areas.
Liaison Committee – this committee would meet with the School Board to work collaboratively for the continued success of the program and should consist of the teachers, priests, bishop and a parent representative.
Communication Committee – this committee would be responsible for sending out information to parents and community members and should consist of two or more parent/community members.
Fundraising Committee – this committee would be responsible for creating fundraising opportunities to raise money for transportation. Opportunities such as grants, support from Ukrainian Community groups or individuals, bottle drives, hot dog sales to name a few. This committee should consist of parents/community members.
This year is an opportunity to show the School Board that we want to work together in good faith for the continued success of the Ukrainian Program. In order to do that we need the support of our parents and the Ukrainian Community as a whole.
