Text: 5th Sunday after Pentecost- Feast of the Mother of Perpetual Help, 'O my soul...'

Instead of ‘It is truly right . . .’:

O my soul, extol the Mother of God*,
of Perpetual Help.*
Beneath the Cross we heard the words of comfort,*
that you are our Mother and we are your children.*
Therefore, we have gathered today and sincerely plea:*
Place our Church and our nation under Your perpetual help,*
for we extol you with faith and love,*
as our Mother of Perpetual Help.
