38th Anniversary of the passing or our Late Bishop Andrew Roborecki – October 25, 2020

 

Sunday, October 25, 2020–UCBC- Bishop Roborecki Branch, together with parishioners  of the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of St. George and guests, celebrated the 38th Anniversary of the passing of our Late Bishop Andrew Roborecki.  The 10:00 AM Divine Liturgy was followed by a Panakhyda Service, and concluded with Initiation ServIce and bingo fund disbursements in the Cathedral / LiveStream. Brothers Walter Wandzura, Rusty Zmud, and Sean Wilson were initiated into the Brotherhood, Congratulations! Mnohaya Lita! LiveStream may be a vehicle for future events- received favourable comment from  as far as British Columbia-Bro Eugene Krenosky.

The Brotherhood has a rich history of support for our Ukrainian Catholic Church and involvement in education as a way of ensuring that our families, especially our youth will retain their rich culture and religious heritage.

Our goal is to promote and preserve our Ukrainian language, religion, culture and education.
On this day as a token of appreciation for their hard work, efforts and dedication, the following organizations were given recognition. Keep up the good works!
