UCC Saskatchewan | КУК Саскачеван: Ukrainian Independence Day Celebrations this Weekend: August 28 – Regina & Saskatoon

Hello everyone.

We will be celebrating Ukraine’s Independence 30th Anniversary this Saturday, Aug 28.

Rain or shine we will meet at Northgate Mall to begin the Parade. Please meet at 1:30 pm and we will leave the Northgate Mall at 2:00 pm.

Decorate your vehicle, bring Ukrainian flags, really celebrate and liven up the parade.

We will continue down Albert Street to the Legislative Building, where (weather permitting) we will gather on the steps of the Legislative Building, sing the Ukrainian anthem and take photos.

With the very good chance of rain on Friday and Saturday, we will then proceed to UNF Hall – 1737 St. John Street, where we will have a service and program.

Come listen to the singers and watch the dancing.

Everyone is welcome. Please come and celebrate with us.

Dress in your best Ukrainian attire and enjoy the day with friends.
