The Honourees Have Been Selected, the Program is Set
We would like to share the exciting news about this year’s Nation Builders & Community Recognition Awards recipients — just not yet!
As previously announced, the in-person event had to be cancelled for 2020. However, our Recognitions Committee has redesigned UCC Saskatchewan’s official recognitions event to take place virtually later this fall, making it possible to celebrate the 2020 honourees while following public health guidelines.
Be sure to follow the e-Bulletin for further details about the Honouree Announcement. |

In Saskatchewan, Culture Days will continue to be an opportunity to highlight cultural activities and engage people from all areas of the province in free, interactive cultural activity. It’s an opportunity to find out more about Saskatchewan’s dynamic cultural community – and inspire individuals and families to spend time, over the Culture Days, to find out how they can make arts and culture part of their lives.
In response to COVID-19, more artists and creatives are exploring the idea of going digital. Culture Days organizers are also being encouraged to plan for the possibility of pivoting from in-person to online events where possible. The sorts of programming being supporting this year are described in the Participation Guide. |
