The Church of Ss. Vladimir and Olga was built in Invermay in 1953 and was blessed by Bishop Andrew Roborecki in 1957. It was constructed through the dedicated labour and generous donations of its parishioners, under the foremanship of Michael Hrywka of Tadmore.
The first Ukrainian settlers arrived in this area in 1912 and established a parish south of town, which they named Kulikiw after their home village in Ukraine. This parish was eventually amalgamated into the newly established one in Invermay.
Ss. Vladimir and Olga is lovingly cared for by its congregation and is served by clergy from Ss. Peter and Paul Parish in Canora.
